Back in 2020 I was commissioned by Collective Arts Distilling to create a new custom design for one of their gin bottles. I was tasked with creating a wraparound design for their Lavender & Juniper flavor that would be inspired by the blue of the butterfly pea flower - an active ingredient in the gin that changed the color from blue to a pinkish purple when citrus was added.

Originally the design was set to be screenprinted on a limited run of 10,000 bottles, but because of the gin's success with winning awards, they continued the bottle design through 2022. While my design remained the same, the label itself ended up going through several different redesigns over the course of two years.

This particular flavor won Collective Arts several awards - the Double Gold at both the San Francisco World Spirits Competition and the SIP Awards, along with a Bronze medal at the International Wine & Spirits Competition (IWSC). It was distributed across Canada and all major U.S. markets.
